Just had a 2-channel dash cam fitted by Jay at Black I.C.E Car Audio & Auto Electrics and I'm really pleased with the result. I did a bit of research beforehand and chose Jay based on his excellent reviews, and he definitely lived up to them. Friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job with the installation. Black ICE have just installed a Alpine Stereo system in my VW T5 Bilbo Campervan by Black ICE...SUPERB!
Great Product, great service, great communications & Great Value, Cant ask for more.
Jay also fitted a New Battery, which was done in super quick time a few days after the Alpine system was fitted .

I contacted Black ICE to have them install a hard wire kit for front and rear camera system. They were able to slot me in quickly and I visited the workshop for the installation. I found James friendly and welcoming from the outset, and informative and helpful about work he was undertaking. That work was carried out professionally, efficiently and swiftly and completed to an excellent standard with care and detail. Jay recently upgraded my failed factory VW T6 Head unit to an Alpine ILX-F905D Halo 9". Jay was fully booked for 6 weeks but kindly offered to fit it for me after work on a Friday in his own time!

Jay was very professional and explained the whole process of the uninstall and install and which each connection did, keeping all factory controls and cameras.

It is obvious that Jay takes pride in all the work he does.

Highly recommend using Jay if you are wanting to upgrade any car audio and security, and I will definitely use Jay again for any future upgrades myself

I recently had a brand new amp and sub installed in my Caddy van by Jay at Black Ice, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the result.

From start to finish, the whole experience was spot on. Jay was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He took the time to talk me through the best setup for my van, making sure everything was tailored exactly to what I wanted rather than just a generic install.

The quality of the work is next level. The install is incredibly clean and tidy – you can tell real care and attention to detail has gone into it. Everything is neatly fitted, no loose wiring, and it looks like it came straight from factory.

As for the sound… absolutely unreal. The amp and sub have completely transformed the audio in the van. The bass is deep, punchy, and powerful without being overwhelming, and the overall sound is crisp and well balanced. It’s made every drive so much better.

What really stood out was Jay’s pride in his work and making sure everything was perfect before handing it back. Proper top-tier service.
